Kalundu Dam project is located in Kitui Central sub-county and constructed across Kalundu
seasonal stream. The main objective was to support horticulture activities within Kitui Central , it has a water capacity of 500,000 cubic metres. The dam serves Kitui Central which has a projected population of approximately 174,832 people.
